Wood is a medium that can be worked in many ways. It can be honed and sanded to a smooth, clean finish or have a ruff, rustic feel. Maybe you want to embrace the natural curves, knots and textures of a certain set of boards, because sometimes, imperfection can be perfection. Or perhaps you have a modern piece of furniture on your mind, with crisp lines and subtle elegance. You bring your ideas, I’ll bring the knowledge and experience. Together we will build you something you love, that will last a lifetime.
Finish Carpentry
I also offer full finish carpentry services. Whether you are looking to change out a door, remodel a room, or finish an entire home, I can meet your needs. I can help with design and material selections, recommend suppliers and deal with all the material sourcing. I enjoy trim work, installing cabinets, and building large pieces, like bookshelves, benches, entertainment centers, and mantels, on site. I also do crown, wainscoting, faux beams, stair work, accent wall paneling and of course, doors, base, shoe and casing.
Reclaimed materials
This side table is made entirely from reclaimed hardwood flooring and scraps. Brazilian Cherry, Domestic Walnut and White Oak look better together than in the dumpster.
Can you make live edge furniture?
Sure can! I don’t sell slabs but I can help you find one that will work for your project. I’m set up to take in rough sawn slabs and flatten them. I can even do epoxy work and inlays.
